Most Awarded Training of 2016–2023. This certified training provides a comprehensive knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodology for process improvement. Now enriched with the support of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and digital techniques that significantly ease project work. Return on investment already with the first project, i.e. after 3 to 6 months.

Green Belt is the foundational certification for anyone who wants to systematically improve business processes and achieve measurable results. The six-day program covers the complete DMAIC methodology — from problem definition through data analysis to the permanent implementation of changes. The training is designed to be as practical as possible: we work with real data and simulate process situations. The training also incorporates AI tools where they genuinely save time — in creating process maps, analyzing data, or processing documentation.

What the Training Includes

Format
6 days of in-person training or 8 half-day online modules. Both formats preserve all key pillars: simulation, team exercises, statistical software, and certification.

Process Simulation
We own 4 professional simulations, 2 of which were developed directly by ICG. Through 11 exercises, participants identify a project, map a process, analyze root causes, and design improvements — all using simulated but realistic data. Includes a workshop for selecting participants’ own processes for improvement, reducing the risk of poor project selection.

Statistical Analysis and Software
In the Analyze phase, we work in Minitab, while also offering additional analysis alternatives using apps and AI. We draw on data from more than 150 projects and always select case studies relevant to the client’s industry. Laptops with software are available on request for the entire duration of the course.

AI as an Accelerator
We show which artificial intelligence tools genuinely save time when working with LSS methodology. The key principle: AI tools complement the methodology and speed up routine steps — they do not replace the analytical thinking of a Green Belt or foundational knowledge of DMAIC.

Coaching Included
Throughout their first project, participants have access to consultations with the trainer (Master Black Belt) — by phone or email. The first coaching session can take place during the training itself. Basic coaching is included in the price; individual consultations can be arranged additionally.
